Vulnerability management & Adoption Integrator

Introduction 28 hours per week Start date: ASAP End date: 31 December 2026 Extension is possible. Hybrid way of work. ZZP is possible. Only residents of the Netherlands can apply. No relocation is possible. Function As an Integrator, you play a pivotal role in identifying, resolving, and managing vulnerabilities across diverse systems and operational chains. Your primary focus lies on overdue vulnerabilities (excluding previously accepted risks) within internet-facing and extranet environments. With a current mitigation rate of approximately 90%, your mission is to effectively address the remaining vulnerabilities, which are often challenging to allocate ownership for. This requires operating through strategic persuasion and compelling narratives rather than relying solely on compliance frameworks. You ensure seamless and consistent follow-up using tools such as Tenable (agents applied to OS, middleware, applications, and infrastructure) and, in the future, Fortify within CI/CD pipelines. This includes not only tackling vulnerabilities but enhancing coverage and visibility across systems. In cases of unclear ownership, you facilitate collaboration, bring stakeholders together, and actively drive progress. With the increasing speed at which vulnerabilities can be exploited and combined—exacerbated by advancements in AI—rapid, decisive action is vital to mitigate risks and safeguard customer trust. As part of a broader transformation program, you also play a crucial role in driving adoption: engaging stakeholders in the approach, fostering awareness, and ensuring structural improvements are embedded within the organization. In summary: you are a highly skilled stakeholder manager, proactive executor, and a true “connective force” who bridges technology and organizational dynamics. Requirements Required skills and qualifications: – Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. – Proven ability to create and secure ownership. – Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable; Fortify experience is advantageous). – Strong understanding of IT ecosystems (OS, middleware, applications, infrastructure). – Proactive, results-driven, and decisive follow-up capabilities. – Experience with transformation initiatives and driving adoption. – Analytical mindset with the ability to maintain oversight in complex environments. – Acute sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure. – Project Management expertise: Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) is highly desirable. – Problem solving: Ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions with attention to detail. – Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders effectively. – Adaptability: Willingness to learn rapidly evolving technologies and adapt to new challenges.
