Network Infrastructure Site Survey and Transition Engineer

Athlon is looking for a medior Datacenter Service Coordinator to support the coordination, reduction, and phased decommissioning of datacenter services over the coming year.

The consultant will coordinate activities between Athlon, Infosys, Mercedes-Benz, Arval, and other involved suppliers. The migration is starting gradually and will ramp up over the coming year. The role focuses on planning, dependency management, and progress monitoring, so that services are migrated, transferred, or decommissioned in a controlled manner while day-to-day operations remain stable.The assignment may also include service or product coordination for ST Axway File Transfer and other datacenter-related platforms.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate technical activities with Infosys and other suppliers.

• Maintain the planning, action list, dependencies, risks, and decision log.

• Identify affected applications, infrastructure, interfaces, and service owners.

• Align planned activities with Service Owners, Application Owners, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure prerequisites, responsibilities and acceptance criteria are clear.

• Coordinate datacenter migration, transition and decommissioning activities, including change, testing, migration, and validation.

• Monitor delivery, follow up on open actions and escalate delays or risks.

• Support ST Axway File Transfer coordination where applicable.

• Ensure documentation, operational handover and service records are kept up to date.

• Provide regular progress and status reports to the responsible stakeholders.

Required profile:

• Medior experience in IT service coordination, infrastructure, or technical project support.

• Experience with datacenter services, migrations, or decommissioning.

• Able to coordinate technical suppliers without having to perform all engineering activities personally.

• Strong planning, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management, and operational handover.

• Experience with ST Axway File Transfer or other integration platforms is an advantage.

• Able to work independently in an international environment.

• Professional working proficiency in English.
