Freelance Global Process Lead

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Freelance Global Process Lead to join a global Trust & Compliance function within a leading technology organisation. Working at the intersection of compliance, security, commercial growth, and operational excellence, you will be responsible for designing and scaling global partner processes that drive efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of trust and compliance. You will design, implement, and optimise critical global partner processes across Compliance, Trust, or Foundational Development domains while collaborating with Product, Program Management, Commercial Growth & Operations, and Local Partner Services teams.

Contract Details

• Location: Amsterdam
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months (+)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Type: Freelance contract only
• Rate: €80 - €85 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate global partner processes across designated domains.
• Establish process documentation, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency across regions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate operational friction, and increase automation.
• Partner with Product and Program Management teams to translate business and compliance requirements into scalable process solutions.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to ensure processes are commercially viable and locally adaptable.
• Act as the subject matter expert for global partner process standards and governance.
• Leverage data, reporting, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous process improvement.
• Conduct root cause analyses and proactively manage the impact of process changes across the wider business ecosystem.
• Embed trust, security, and regulatory requirements throughout the partner lifecycle.
• Conduct process reviews and audits to maintain compliance with evolving regulations and internal policies.

What We Are Looking For

• 3-5+ years of experience in process design, operational excellence, or business transformation.
• Experience within technology, platform, e-commerce, or similarly complex international environments.
• Proven success driving cross-functional initiatives as an individual contributor.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within matrix organisations.
• Advanced Jira experience for workflow management and process tracking.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting reporting and Tableau dashboards.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, RACI, process mapping, and process optimisation methodologies.
• Ability to assess complex systems and understand upstream and downstream business impacts.
