Freelance Senior Agile Trainer

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced freelance Senior Agile Trainer to join a global transformation environment and help teams, managers and leaders strengthen their agile mindset, knowledge and ways of working. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled facilitator who is passionate about learning, coaching and driving lasting organisational change through impactful training programmes.

• Hours: 40 p/w

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Unit stakeholders and Transformation Coaches to define training objectives, align learning programmes with transformation goals and prioritise improvements to training materials.
• Own and continuously enhance one or more Agile Hub learning modules, maintaining content quality, relevance and consistency across all trainers.
• Co-deliver training sessions alongside Agile Coaches, setting a high standard for facilitation, engagement and participant experience.
• Adapt training content, examples and exercises for engineering, product and business audiences to maximise relevance and practical application.
• Facilitate highly interactive learning experiences using Training from the Back of the Room principles, encouraging participation, collaboration and psychological safety.
• Develop and conduct learning assessments, measure training effectiveness and report outcomes and behavioural changes to key stakeholders.
• Mentor Agile Coaches and fellow trainers through observation, feedback and co-facilitation to strengthen overall delivery quality.
• Coordinate with transformation teams regarding scheduling, trainer availability, attendance tracking and participant communications.
• Build strong relationships with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Senior Engineering Managers, Group Product Managers, Agile Coaches, Change Leads, HR and external experts.
• Deliver training programmes to teams, senior managers and executive-level stakeholders, supporting agile transformation journey across a global organisation.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required, with a Master's degree preferred.
• Approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in agile training, facilitation or coaching.
• Proven experience leading engaging training sessions for a variety of audience sizes and seniority levels, including leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in Training from the Back of the Room methodologies and modern adult learning approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to assess learning outcomes and measure knowledge adoption.
• Deep understanding of agile values, principles, frameworks, methodologies and practices.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to create psychologically safe learning environments that encourage collaboration and behavioural change.
• Experience mentoring trainers, coaches or facilitators is highly desirable.
• A background within Product and Engineering environments is considered a strong advantage.
