About the Project

Our client is building next-generation AI-powered products that enhance large-scale customer experiences through Generative AI, conversational agents, recommendation systems, and intelligent assistants. The team is focused on developing scalable machine learning solutions that directly impact millions of users across search, planning, and customer engagement journeys.

You will join a highly innovative Data & AI environment where machine learning, experimentation, and state-of-the-art AI research are translated into production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train and evaluate machine learning models for GenAI applications.
• Research and apply state-of-the-art techniques in Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, Computer Vision, recommendation systems and agent-based architectures.
• Build scalable AI solutions that support customer-facing products.
• Develop clean, reusable and production-ready code.
• Perform detailed data analysis, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Define success metrics and drive experimentation frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers to optimise model performance, latency and scalability.
• Work with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Analysts to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Support deployment of models into production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP and/or Computer Vision.
• Experience developing machine learning products at scale.
• MSc with 3+ years of relevant industry experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven expertise across data science, model development, experimentation and software engineering.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with Java, Kafka, Hadoop, SQL and Spark.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Published research, patents or open-source contributions are highly desirable.
• Experience building customer-facing AI products.
