Senior AI Software Engineer

An international technology company (large client) is looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, build and scale AI powered applications and agent based solutions across a complex business environment.

This role focuses on turning promising AI use cases into a scalable product ecosystem. You will define architecture, develop reusable capabilities, integrate enterprise systems and take solutions from prototype to production.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI applications, agents and multi agent workflows
• Define scalable architectures for agent orchestration and enterprise integrations
• Develop solutions using OpenAI, Claude or similar LLM platforms
• Implement RAG, grounding, context management and memory patterns
• Build integrations through APIs and MCP/tool calling frameworks
• Ensure solutions meet standards for security, reliability, observability and governance
• Work closely with product, business and technical stakeholders to deliver production ready applications
• Create reusable capabilities that can support multiple business workflows

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong software architecture and system design expertise
• Hands on experience building GenAI and agentic applications
• Experience with AI agents, orchestration and preferably multi agent systems
• Knowledge of OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude or comparable platforms
• Experience with RAG, retrieval, grounding and context engineering
• Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations and MCP/tool calling
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript skills
• Solid understanding of testing, CI/CD, security, monitoring and production operations
• Proven ability to take solutions from proof of concept to production

Nice to have

• Experience with agent as tool or multi agent architectures
• Experience with Claude Code, Codex or similar AI development tools
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace and Slack
• Experience in programme management, change management or business operations environments
• Experience building AI systems that can take actions in external platforms with appropriate controls

Please note This is an AI application engineering and architecture role. It is not a machine learning research, data science or model training position. The focus is on applying existing AI technologies to real business workflows and delivering secure, scalable production solutions.
