Senior Technician – Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Main duties

• Support project planning and align requirements with Service Operations needs.
• Work with stakeholders to define project support models and requirements.
• Coordinate and track projects transitioning into Service Operations.
• Prepare and maintain acceptance criteria; review deliverables and documentation against them.
• Follow up on actions, dependencies and outstanding issues.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and deputise for senior staff when required.

Required experience and education

• Practical experience implementing ITIL Service Operations processes, preferably in an Operations Centre.
• Experience in a large organisation with a matrix structure.
• Experience reviewing business processes, supporting project management and preparing business documentation.
• Ability to assess proposed process changes and recommend improvements.
• Good knowledge of telecommunications, networking and IT solutions.
• Relevant higher vocational qualification plus 2 years of relevant experience, or secondary education plus 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications and experience

• PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile PM or equivalent.
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or equivalent.
• ITIL Continuous Service Improvement, Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
• Business Analysis Management or equivalent.
• Experience in an international military/civilian environment.
• Knowledge of NATO, including ACO and ACT.

Contract and working conditions

• Location: Mons, Belgium — full-time on-site.
• Dates: 18 November–31 December 2026.
• Total hours: 350.
• Security clearance: NATO Secret required.
• Work may involve underground or secure areas and shift patterns.
• Up to four temporary duty trips within Belgium per year are foreseen.
