Omschrijving
Procurement Manager
Additional information from the intake with the hiring manager
Context
This role supports the Wind business unit within Vattenfall’s CEP Digital Programme, with a focus on sourcing for the new OCC and related OT topics. The specialist will be supported by both a business team and a procurement team, and will work with a wide range of stakeholders across functions and countries.
Ideal profile
First preference: experience in Wind, ideally with SCADA systems.
Second preference: an extensive IT procurement background, which gives the candidate a solid understanding of how communication systems work.
10+ years of procurement experience is preferred. 7+ years can also be considered.
Experience at procurement manager level, with the ability to communicate confidently with board-level stakeholders. The role itself is not at executive level.
Vattenfall is a highly complex matrix organisation, so proven experience in complex organisations and with complex tenders is a must.
A degree is not a must. Relevant experience is leading.
General energy-sector experience is not a major advantage. In-depth procurement knowledge counts for much more.
Personality and working style
Hands-on, pragmatic, with a can-do mentality.
Solution-oriented: the manager prefers solutions over complaints.
Diplomatic, with strong stakeholder management skills.
Location and travel
The way of working is flexible, but this is not a fully remote role.
