Omschrijving
Functie
As an Officer Alternative Investments Administration, you will work in an operational financial accounting and related controls and processes role, with exposure to several stakeholders involved. The AIA department is a Backoffice team that takes care of the execution and administration of front to end transactions for so-called illiquid investments. These investments are Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Commodities and Credits.
Alternative Investment Administration (AIA) is part of Asset Management Operations. The objectives of the AIA team are to deliver accurate, timely and high-quality products and services: deal implementation (deal set-up in (financial) systems), commitment administration, processing of transactions, investment monitoring, daily, monthly and quarterly valuations review and data processing, costs reporting and back testing.
Wat ga je doen?
- You carry out the daily actual execution and processing of financial transactions in key financial/data systems (cashflows in/out, investment valuations).
- You prepare a wide variety of financial reports/data reports for your allocated investments. Some reports are sent to your stakeholders to enable them in their decision-making process. Other reports are required by financial regulations and will be available to the broader public. As a result, all reports have to be of high quality.
- You perform analysis/reconciliations on investment values received from external investment managers.
- You assist the Officers on the team with analysis/data gathering type of work for Continuous Improvement Projects led by them.
- You gradually become involved in process improvement initiatives.
Profiel
Are you the meticulous and quality-driven Associate (Junior Officer) we are looking for to join the Alternative Investment Administration (AIA) back-office team? Do you possess the right communication and analytical skills? Then we would love to hear your story.
As an AIA Associate, you are a team player who works with considerable autonomy.
- You liaise with your internal stakeholders (external investment managers, Front Office portfolio managers, second line quality review departments, Accounting and Control, and Cash management) to gather all necessary information in a timely manner. This enables you to set up investments in our systems in a timely manner and start executing and recording transactions and reporting.
As an associate, you will be mentored and coached by one of our experienced colleagues within our team. Together with them and the team manager, you will actively develop your skills and form your career path. Giving and receiving constant feedback is something we consider a crucial part of your development.

Opdrachtgever
