Assignment Summary

Our client, a leading international mobility services provider, is seeking a medior Datacenter Service Coordinator to support the coordination, reduction, and phased decommissioning of datacenter services over the coming year.

The consultant will coordinate activities between internal stakeholders, key IT service providers, parent company entities, and external suppliers. The migration is starting gradually and will ramp up over the coming year. The role focuses on planning, dependency management, and progress monitoring, ensuring services are migrated, transferred, or decommissioned in a controlled manner while day-to-day operations remain stable.

The assignment may also include service or product coordination for Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms and other datacenter-related infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate technical activities with external IT partners and vendors.

• Maintain the planning, action list, dependencies, risks, and decision log.

• Identify affected applications, infrastructure, interfaces, and service owners.

• Align planned activities with Service Owners, Application Owners, and business stakeholders.

• Ensure prerequisites, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria are clear.

• Coordinate datacenter migration, transition, and decommissioning activities, including change management, testing, migration, and validation.

• Monitor delivery, follow up on open actions, and escalate delays or risks.

• Support Managed File Transfer (MFT) coordination where applicable.

• Ensure documentation, operational handover, and service records are kept up to date.

• Provide regular progress and status reports to key management stakeholders.

  
  

Required Profile:

• Medior experience in IT service coordination, infrastructure management, or technical project support.

• Hands-on experience with datacenter services, cloud migrations, or system decommissioning projects.

• Ability to coordinate technical suppliers without needing to perform deep engineering tasks personally.

• Strong planning, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes, formal change management, and operational service handovers.

• Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions or integration platforms is a strong plus.

• Ability to work independently within an international enterprise environment.

• Professional working proficiency in English.
