Senior Project Manager - FP&A

Please note, this is a 9-month assignment for freelancers.

The pay rate is: 55-95 EUR/hour.

The Role

Senior Project Managers possess a strong project management background. They have excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, They have solid experience assessing business needs, developing the implementation strategy and leading end-to-end activities for their respective projects

The role is responsible for the financial oversight of our ‘Future Fit’ program and for the implementation and tracking of our Business Case process within Booking. This role works closely with a large number of (senior) stakeholders from various departments.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a financial background. A person who is pro-active, a self-starter, very organized, flexible and an easy connector within different levels in the organisation.

Responsibilities :

Future Fit Program:

• Manage Future Fit P&L templates

  
  

• Coordination between different stakeholders included in the project (Business control/ FFPO/Procurement/Business)

  
  

• Connection between Future Fit activities and business

  
  

• Reporting on Future Fit progress and savings

  
  

• Responsibility on received data quality for program

  
  

• Setting up long term solution on project tracking

Business Case process:

• Helping roll-out of the Business Case process

  
  

• Tracking of the Business Cases (google form)

  
  

• Organise approval meetings, make sure the right people sign off

  
  

• Reporting on status and impact of the business cases

  
  

• Long term solution on business cases

Other project:

• Supporting with other Business Control projects as Position management, automation of management reporting, RPA and others

Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of similar working experience;

  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field, Business control experience is a pre;

  
  

• Strong Project Management Experience. Preferably having a background in Agile Project Management

  
  

• Familiar with change management approaches; good understanding of the change curve and process

  
  

• Highly organized and structured and make sure all processes run smoothly and in a reliable manner.

  
  

• Flexibility and the ability to function well within ambiguity and in a constantly changing environment.

  
  

• Sr Project Managers make sure the project's outcomes are in line with customer needs and/or expectations

  
  

• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and compliance in financial reporting and analysis.

  
  

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.

  
  

• Ability to understand, work with and proactively advise and influence senior business partners;
