Omschrijving

Business Analyst

Location: Utrecht

About the role
As an experienced, strategic Business Analyst, you will connect policy, risk, engineering and emerging AI capabilities. You will turn complex compliance expectations into clear controls, evidence models, digital journeys and actionable delivery backlogs.
You will work with stakeholders across areas including CISO, TCO/DCO, DPCOs, policy and requirements owners, solution owners and engineering teams. Your work will help ensure that compliance can be understood, implemented and demonstrated through standard solutions, objective evidence, declarations or formally approved deviations.

What you’ll do

Analyse policy requirements and determine appropriate compliance outcomes.
Identify lessons learned and opportunities to improve mapped requirements, approved solutions, controls, SAQ questions and evidence.
Align stakeholders across CISO, TCO/DCO, DPCO and Adherence.
Define compliance pathways, including proxy, evidence, trust and deviation.
Set evidence requirements for non-standard solutions and assess evidence needs when consumers select them.
Translate stakeholder needs into requirements, acceptance criteria and decision points.
Assess risk-monitoring needs and identify gaps, dependencies and governance issues.
Design role-based, end-to-end Adherence journeys for engineers, solution owners, TCOs and other roles.
Develop the Engineer journey into practical micro-journeys, requirements and work instructions.
Connect journeys across Adherence and supporting solutions, validate ownership and hand-offs, and support publication in Nexa.
Help position Adherence as an enabler of the Agentic SDLC.
Define requirements for translating policies, controls and requirements into machine-readable context.
Connect AI innovations to Adherence processes and user journeys, and maintain an AI-readiness backlog, use-case portfolio and context catalogue.
Provide impact assessments and strategic recommendations.

What you bring

Senior business analysis experience in regulated or technology-driven environments.
Strong requirements engineering, process modelling and journey-design skills.
Experience translating risk and policy requirements into controls and technology requirements.
Effective stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Strategic systems thinking combined with attention to implementation detail.
Working knowledge of AI, evidence, controls and software delivery.
An entrepreneurial, analytical and collaborative approach.
Fluency in both English and Dutch.
