Data Engineer -Team GreenWave

As a Data Engineer within GreenWave, you will be responsible for the data and software platform powering passenger timeslot services. You will build and maintain backend applications, APIs, and data-intensive services that support operational decision making at Schiphol. Working closely with product owners, data scientists, and other engineers from other teams, you will translate business needs into reliable production-grade solutions. You put your talents to work at: Design, develop and maintain Python backend services and REST APIs used by internal and external consumers. Build reliable integrations and data pipelines supporting GreenWave products and operational processes. Deploy, monitor and operate applications in production environments using Azure and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution and continuous improvements. Collaborate with data scientists to productionize models and data products. Contribute to software engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and code quality practices.
