Omschrijving

What you'll be working on:

The core of this engagement is reworking the full Partner Lifecycle: Lead through Opportunity, Contracting, and Service, currently built with significant brand-specific logic on both sides. That bespoke layer needs to be untangled, rationalized, and rebuilt to support a unified model.

Temporary Senior Salesforce Developer to support the consolidation of a shared Salesforce instance between two brands, with brand-specific Salesforce operating models into a single unified operating model on Salesforce (brownfield). This role requires a developer who can navigate ambiguity, proactively clarify requirements with stakeholders across multiple business lines, and deliver production-ready solutions under tight timelines.

The unified operating model is still being defined, so there will be ambiguity. You'll need to be comfortable working with incomplete information and confident in finding answers independently.

Depending on your experience, you could work on our new opportunity flow, account hierarchy redesign, data sharing and migration, duplicate account consolidation, or service module, all involving custom development and integrations.

The team

You'll join an international Salesforce team of nine, including a Platform Manager, Salesforce Developers, and Functional Application Specialists. This is a mature, well-adopted Salesforce environment with a broad product footprint.

The relevant stack

  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud

  • Knowledge, Agentforce, Marketing Cloud, Slack

What we're looking for

Beyond technical skills, this role demands someone who can navigate complexity without losing momentum. We're looking for a pragmatic problem solver who builds solutions that scale and are maintainable long-term — not quick fixes. Soft skills — communication, collaboration, managing ambiguity — are as important here as the technical ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain APEX classes, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes to support the unified partner lifecycle.

  • Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) and maintain existing Aura components during the transition period.

  • Design and implement declarative solutions (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules) where appropriate.

  • Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party systems (APIs, middleware, external partner tools) using REST/SOAP patterns.

  • Translate ambiguous or evolving business requirements into clear technical specifications — proactively engaging stakeholders to fill gaps.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (commercial, operations, other engineering teams) to align technical delivery with business needs.

  • Support data migration and system continuity across the three-brand consolidation.

  • Ensure code quality through proper test coverage, peer reviews, and adherence to governor limits.

  • Participate in architecture discussions related to the merged platform design.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical and functional depth in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party systems; must have

  • Familiarity with the broader Salesforce ecosystem (Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce a plus)

  • Brownfield migration experience is a strong advantage, 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
