Omschrijving

As ER Partner, you'll lead sensitive workplace investigations across NL and EMEA and act as a trusted advisor to Business leaders and HR on complex employee relations matters. It's a role that demands sound judgment, discretion, and genuine care for people, and offers real influence in shaping how the ER function develops as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities

As ER Partner, your key responsibilities will be:

Lead with integrity

  • Lead complex and sensitive ER investigations across NL and EMEA, ensuring every case is handled fairly, transparently, and without bias.

  • Own the full investigation lifecycle, from intake and planning through to well-structured reports and clear recommendations for Management, HR, Compliance, and other key stakeholders.

  • Partner with GIS, Employment Law, and Compliance to uphold a consistent, best-in-class investigation standard across the organization.

  • Translate case data into insight: identify patterns, flag emerging risks early, and recommend proactive, preventative solutions.

Partner and advise

  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR and Business leaders on complex and high-stakes employee relations matters.

  • Apply conflict resolution and mediation techniques to resolve workplace challenges constructively and de-escalate where possible.

  • Ensure case outcomes are sustainable - follow through on agreed actions and make sure lessons learned translate into lasting change.

  • Lead climate analyses and cultural assessments where needed, turning findings into concrete recommendations that support healthy team dynamics.

Collaborate

  • Partner with global ER peers to set shared standards, exchange best practices, and raise the bar for how we work.

  • Strengthen collaboration and consistency across HR, Legal, and Compliance through close, ongoing partnership.

  • Drive improvements in training, communication, and ways of working within the ER space - helping the function mature as it grows.

Required

As ER Partner, you have:

  • Solid experience in Employee Relations, HR, Compliance, or Legal, with a proven track record of independently leading workplace investigations, including complex or sensitive cases.

  • Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills - you build trust quickly and navigate sensitive topics with empathy and composure.

  • Sound judgment, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential and high-risk matters.

  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and ER best practices across multiple jurisdictions.

  • The credibility to influence and advise effectively at all levels, including senior leadership.

  • An analytical mindset, with experience turning case data and insights into meaningful improvements.

  • Strong communication skills, including experience designing and delivering training or workshops.
