Senior Engineer, CIS Security

NATO's NISC is looking for a Senior Engineer with a focus on CIS Security to support security accreditation activities for NISC-managed communication and information systems.

Main duties

• Support security accreditation for NISC-managed CIS, particularly edge security, in line with NATO security policies.
• Assess threats, vulnerabilities and residual risks, then recommend ways to manage them.
• Prepare accreditation documents, including risk assessments, security requirements, operating procedures and test plans. Identify opportunities to automate document preparation.
• Witness security tests and coordinate remediation of findings with technical leads.
• Support internal and external audits and security checks when required.

Eisen

• Strong experience in CIS security risk assessments, accreditation and the associated documentation.
• Broad knowledge of computer, network and edge security, including operating system and application vulnerabilities.
• Experience implementing security controls in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of IT security frameworks and governance, plus NATO or NATO member nation CIS security practices.
• NATO Cosmic Top Secret clearance.

Assignment details: Full-time on-site. The stated scope is 760 hours. Some work outside normal office hours and travel within Belgium may be required.
