Omschrijving
who will lead daily warehouse operations and support an efficient, reliable, and safe material flow from incoming goods to production point of use.
De positie
In this role, you will coordinate warehouse activities, manage and coach team members, improve operational processes, and ensure that materials are available on time, in the right quantity, and at the right location. You will work closely with production, planning, logistics, quality, and other support departments to secure stable operations and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support warehouse employees in daily operations.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate material handling within the warehouse.
- Coordinate incoming goods, internal movements, storage, replenishment, picking, and delivery to production.
- Monitor workload, priorities, staffing, and daily performance to meet production needs and warehouse KPI’s.
- Support reliable inventory management by ensuring correct bookings, cycle counts, and process discipline.
- Work with production planning, logistics, quality, and engineering teams to align priorities.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, 5S, and company operational standards.
Wat breng jij
- Associate Degree / Bachelor degree, preferably in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, material flow, production logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous experience in leadership or supervisory in warehouse environment for at least 1 year.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes.
- Experience with SAP, SAP EWM, or similar warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English and Dutch; German is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on and structured working style.
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic production environment.
- Focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Confident in coaching people, giving direction, and building team ownership.
- Affinity with data, process improvement, and operational performance management.
