Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work within the R&D department of an international high-tech organization in Venlo. You will develop mechanical components and units for advanced printing systems, including precision frames, drive systems, media handling solutions and other complex mechanisms. Together with designers, architects, manufacturing, purchasing and quality specialists, you will translate requirements into reliable technical designs while balancing quality, functionality, time and cost. What will you do? Design and develop mechanical components and units using parametric CAD/CAE tools. Translate technical requirements into mechanical concepts and verify designs through calculations, prototypes and testing. Create technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, instructions and tolerance analyses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and suppliers to develop manufacturable solutions and improve product performance.
