Senior Mobile QA Engineer

Function We are looking for a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to strengthen our Mobile Engineering Platform team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of our internal mobile SDK, used across iOS and Android applications. You will work in a platform environment where multiple teams contribute shared modules that are consumed across the organisation. Within this team, you will help shape and validate a newly built application that integrates these modules into a cohesive product. While the app itself is developed from the ground up, it builds upon existing standards, frameworks, and architectural principles. This offers a strong balance between creating something new and leveraging proven solutions, with a clear focus on consistency, quality, and scalability across the mobile ecosystem. You will be working on – Validating integration of multiple modules and dependencies provided by core app teams – Supporting the development and quality of a new (greenfield) application built on top of internal SDK components – Setting up and improving QA practices, test frameworks, and automation from the ground up within established standards – Improving test strategies for modularised architectures and cross-team dependencies – Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for SDKs, modules, and integration layers – Supporting versioning, release validation, and quality gates for SDK and framework distribution – Driving improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability through testing – Enabling development teams by improving testability, feedback loops, and quality insights – Collaborating proactively with teams to ensure smooth adoption of platform components and safe migrations – Identifying risks in dependency chains and preventing regressions across shared modules Your role and responsibilities – Define and implement QA strategy for a mobile platform / SDK environment – Build and maintain automated test solutions (integration, E2E, regression) – Ensure quality across module boundaries and complex dependency structures – Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes – Analyse defects, identify root causes, and drive structural improvements – Work closely with developers, platform engineers, and consuming teams – Promote QA best practices across the engineering community – Contribute to QA guilds and knowledge sharing Requirements What you bring (Must-have) – 6–8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering, preferably in mobile environments – Experience testing both iOS and Android applications – Strong experience with mobile test automation (e.g.
