Business Analyst — CEP Digital Program, Vattenfall Business Area Wind

Vattenfall is driving the transition to a fossil-free future, and digitalisation is a key enabler of this ambition. Within Business Area Wind, the CEP Digital Program accelerates selected digital initiatives that contribute to cost efficiency, operational excellence, future competitiveness and a stronger digital foundation. To support this program scope, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can translate business needs into clear requirements and strengthen the development, validation and tracking of the associated business cases.

As Business Analyst, you will work for the program connecting specific initiatives under the umbrella of the CEP Digital Program, such as Monitoring & Control, Asset Information Management and Maintenance Planning & Work Execution. You will ensure that requirements, business value, delivery scope, costs, dependencies and benefit assumptions remain connected throughout the program’s lifecycle.

What you will do:

• Drive business case development for the program and specific CEP Digital initiatives, including assumptions, baselines, cost/benefit drivers, timing and linkage to CEP Digital targets.
• Identify and document business case dependencies, including dependencies between CEP Digital projects.
• Support both quantitative and qualitative value definition, including OPEX savings, CAPEX implications, revenue uplift, prevented costs, operational stability, compliance, health and safety, people enablement and future competitiveness.
• Set up and maintain business case tracking, ensuring that benefit assumptions, milestones, risks, dependencies, scope changes and cost updates are regularly reviewed and reflected in project and program reporting.
• Ensure that changes in project scope, timing, solution approach or implementation readiness are translated into updated business case impacts and clearly communicated to project and program management.
• Drive requirements refinement and alignment with affected stakeholders, ensuring that requirements are prioritised, traceable to business objectives and specific enough to be delivered and tested by project or agile delivery teams.
• Develop requirements as input to solution selection, tender preparation, project tollgate decisions and implementation planning for CEP Digital initiatives in scope.
• Participate in shaping change management strategies and plans to ensure that business change is successfully rolled out, embedded and linked to benefit realisation.

Expected deliverables / end results:

• Requirements specifications and business analysis reports for the CEP Digital initiatives in scope.
• Business case descriptions for assigned initiatives, including qualitative and quantitative value logic, baseline assumptions, cost and benefit drivers, dependencies and uncertainty levels.
• Business case updates and validation input for CEP Digital project and program reporting, including impact of scope, planning, cost, dependency and benefit changes.
• Input to solution selection, procurement and governance decisions, ensuring that requirements and business value remain connected.
