Freelance Project Manager | UX/UI, CMS (Drupal), JIRA

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager - Digital Marketing to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of strategic platform enhancements and business-as-usual improvements across a large-scale partner ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery professional who thrives in complex digital environments and enjoys working across technology, content, user experience, analytics, and business stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Partner Hub platform initiatives, from discovery and planning through to launch, measurement, and post-launch support.
• Assess incoming requests and define the appropriate level of discovery, stakeholder engagement, governance, and delivery planning.
• Translate business requirements into clear scope, delivery plans, requirements, dependencies, and ownership structures.
• Define approval processes, success measures, acceptance criteria, and key delivery milestones.
• Drive collaboration across UX/UI, engineering, content, CMS, analytics, QA, localisation, personalisation, and external partners.
• Manage Jira backlogs, delivery roadmaps, project timelines, estimates, dependencies, and release plans.
• Coordinate complex initiatives including CMS enhancements, content migrations, search improvements, AI-powered features, accessibility projects, integrations, and personalisation programmes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
• Identify and manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and keep delivery on track.
• Manage relationships with agencies and technology partners, overseeing scope, delivery quality, capacity, and commercial performance.
• Support contract, budget, procurement, and finance-related activities where required.
• Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and delivery processes that improve efficiency and consistency.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery, including backlog management, planning, and dependency tracking.
• Proven experience delivering digital platforms, websites or CMS projects from discovery through to launch.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira for planning, governance, and delivery tracking.
• Experience with content management systems, ideally Drupal.
• Good understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience creating and managing project roadmaps, timelines, and delivery plans.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, contracts, and external delivery partners.
• A technically curious mindset with the ability to understand platform dependencies, challenge assumptions, and make informed delivery decisions.
