Construction EHS Supervisor - Botlek Rotterdam

We are supporting our client, a leading player in the Oil & Gas and Chemicals sector, in finding a Construction EHS Supervisor for their major CCS project in Botlek Rotterdam. In this contract role, you will play a central part in construction and commissioning activities, driving safety leadership on site and strengthening our client's safety culture across complex petrochemical operations.

Key Skills & Focus Areas

Construction & Commissioning EHS: Oversee EHS activities during the construction and commissioning phases of a major petrochemical CCS project.

Safety Leadership & Culture: Champion safe behaviours, lead by example, and promote a proactive safety culture across project teams and contractors.

Contractor Management: Ensure contractors comply with site rules, procedures, and EHS standards.

PTW & LOTO: Manage and monitor Permit to Work and Lockout/Tagout processes to control high-risk activities.

SIMOPS: Coordinate simultaneous operations safely while minimising interface risks on a busy industrial site.

Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and drive effective corrective actions.

Risk Assessments: Facilitate and review task and project risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.

EHS Management Systems & Regulatory Compliance: Apply EHS management systems and ensure compliance with Dutch legislation and industry standards.

Training & Stakeholder Management: Deliver safety training and engage stakeholders at all levels to secure commitment and continuous improvement.

P&ID Interpretation: Read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand process safety implications and site risks.
