Introduction 36 hours per week Start: 10 August 2026 End: 06 August 2027 Possible extension: Yes Relocation is not possible ZZP is not allowed Function We are looking for a passionate IT Professional to join the IT Infrastructure Department (“Platform Grid”) of ABN AMRO Clearing NL in the role of IT Continuity Manager (“Capability Owner”). The Platform Grid delivers Datacentre hosting services, Public & Private Cloud, Middleware, Database services, Networks and End User Services, Operational Resilience, Service Desk and 24*7 Operations Control. The role of IT Continuity Manager is part of the Global IT Resilience & Recovery Block within the Platform Grid, which is responsible for IT Continuity Management, IT Disaster Recovery and Backup & Restore capabilities across APAC, EMEA, US, and LATAM. The IT Continuity Manager will be responsible for the ownership, governance, design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Global IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Capability, Standards, Processes & Controls across ABN AMRO Clearing Bank. Key Responsibilities – Own and Maintain the Global ITSCM process, standards, controls and governance framework – Design and maintain IT Service Continuity Templates – Monitoring & Report on IT Service Continuity Capability Compliance, KPI/KRIs for Risk / Audit oversight – Provide guidance and expertise to Product Owners, Architects, Risk Management, Audit and Senior Leadership. – Support regulatory compliance, audit and operational resilience activities – Promote awareness, training and adoption of IT Continuity Management practices – This position is located at our Amsterdam Office and requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite With the following results (SMART) – Ensure IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Policies & Standards, Processes and Templates are maintained, reviewed and aligned with Regulatory and AAB organisational requirements on an annual basis – Ensure IT Service Continuity documentation is maintained, reviewed & up to date – Ensure Recovery Capabilities support AACB Business Continuity requirements and meet agreed service recovery objectives – Monitor, control and report on completion of Service Continuity & IT Disaster Recovery Testing programs globally – Ensure Testing Results, lessons learned, Risks & Issues and remediation activities are documented, tracked and reported – Ensure Management reporting provides clear visibility of the IT Continuity capability, compliance and risk exposure (KPI/KRIs) – Mature ITSCM capability continuously through lessons learned, regulatory developments and industry best practices – Product and Platform teams receive guidance, training and support to embed IT Continuity Management requirements within their services. – Strong collaboration is maintained with Risk Management, BCM, Information Security, Audit and IT leadership functions Requirements Education/Experience – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT Service Management or related disciplines. – Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Service Continuity Management roles – Experience within highly regulated financial services or banking environments. Knowledge/Expertise IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) – Business Continuity Management Systems (BCM) – Strong knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery, IT Risk and Control Frameworks – Familiarity with IT Application, Infrastructure, DC and Cloud environments – Regulatory and industry frameworks including ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NIST2 and DORA.
