Interim Finance Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Build automation solutions to streamline finance and operational processes.
• Transform, cleanse, and structure large datasets from multiple source systems.
• Integrate data across systems using SQL, APIs, FTP, and other interfaces.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and independently implement technical improvements.
• Support the resolution of accounting backlogs through smart data and automation solutions.
• Implement automated controls to improve data quality and reduce recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Data teams to deliver scalable automation initiatives.
• Provide data-driven insights and progress updates to stakeholders in an international environment.

Wie ben jij

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, automation, analytics, or a similar technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Solid Python programming skills for data processing, scripting, and automation.
• Experience working with APIs, FTP, and system integrations.
• Experience with Power Automate and/or RPA tools is considered a plus.
• Affinity with finance or accounting is beneficial, but a strong technical background is more important.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently design and implement automation solutions.
• Experience working in large, international, and multi-entity environments is preferred.

Wat je krijgt

Hour rate indication for this interim role is €80- € 100 excluding VAT.
