The Asset Strategy department in the performance unit Onshore is involved in long- and medium-term risk mitigation in TenneT’s high-voltage grid with the aim of guaranteeing security of supply and safety. The department gives direction to the technical implementation of maintenance activities and the right follow-up activities. In addition, the team is responsible for monitoring the condition of the assets and defining solutions for bottlenecks in the grid that arise due to degradation. You will work in our Utilization & Innovation team, a diverse and international team of 11, with high affinity to data science with a focus of making TenneT’s maintenance more data driven. As a Data Scientist Maintenance you will manage a challenging and diverse. Together with these colleagues your responsibility is to ensure that the network is optimally maintained and that the risks of the high-voltage grid are managed. You will look for creative and innovative solutions to mitigate these risks in the long term. In this position, you will implement maintenance strategies in practical applications, making maintenance policies more data-driven. To achieve this, you will explore innovative solutions and leverage both existing and emerging data sources to optimize asset performance and reliability. Your responsibilities: Help in developing and implementing our data driven maintenance strategy and roadmap. Execute and drive data projects in our team like predictive maintenance, AI and BI. Connect your data expertise with our technology experts to successfully implement data-driven maintenance. Develop and maintain the method to maintain insight into the condition of the assets. Formulating and thinking along about long-term policy in the field of data-driven maintenance. Contribute to optimizing maintenance management and data-driven asset performance optimization. De Eisen Master’s degree, preferably in the direction of Data Science, Electrical Engineering or a relevant exact discipline like physics, mathematics. Minimum 5 years' of relevant work experience in data driven challenges in maintenance. Experience and skilled in python, SQL, Git and PowerBI. Proven understanding of high voltage grids and the relevant physics. Able to 'build bridges' between different internal departments and external parties. You are enterprising and expected to take responsibility for what needs to be done. Communicative and socially you're very skilled and you've the right amount of tact. You are analytically strong, aware of the environment and have good judgement.
