Interim Statutory Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements for various domestic and international entities in accordance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
• Analyze financial figures and make adjustments where necessary.
• Support and coordinate the external audit process.
• Prepare for the annual audit by compiling audit files, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, and responding to auditors' questions before, during, and after the audit.
• Liaise with external auditors at various levels, including junior auditors, audit team leads, and audit managers.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Wie ben jij

• Masters degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Demonstrable experience preparing statutory financial statements within an international environment, including IFRS, Dutch GAAP.
• A RA (Dutch Certified Registered Accountant) background is preferred, otherwise a strong audit background..
• Available on a short term on a full-time basis.
• Able to work 3 days per week from the Amsterdam office
• The interim assignment is expected to last several months, with the possibility of an extension.

Wat je krijgt

Hour rate indication for this interim role is € 100 excluding VAT.
